The strongest workshops are genuinely substantial
Several lectures are longer than entire beginner courses. These are the parts that justify the 12h 20m workload:
- 80:52
Facebook campaign planning
- 77:29
Creating Facebook ads
- 51:43
Facebook audiences
- 38:56
Facebook video and video-view ads
- 31:00
Ad copy and creative
- 27:54
Split testing
- 24:37
Tracking and reporting
- 22:28
The Coursenvy Facebook Ads funnel
There are also focused lessons on budgets and bidding, lead ads, local-business ads, message ads, scaling, Business Manager access and Shops. A learner can build a connected campaign plan rather than only learning which buttons to press.
“76 lectures” needs context
Thirty-two public lecture entries are under one minute; 23 are ten seconds or less. Many appear to be resource pointers, placeholders or short FAQ answers rather than lessons. Count the substantive runtime, not the menu length.
Seven titles explicitly say “OLD STYLE,” “old user interface,” “old UI” or “OLD LECTURES.” Together they account for roughly 1h 44m, including a 35:19 old-style Page guide and a 29:44 legacy retargeting walkthrough. Historical concepts may still help, but the clicks and defaults can mislead.
The course was updated in January 2026, yet legacy material remains visibly retained. Check individual lecture titles and recent reviews, then verify account, tracking, privacy and policy steps against current Meta documentation.
A practical route through the large syllabus
- Plan
Study funnel, campaign planning and the current-style Page material. Define one business action and event.
- Build
Work through ad creation, copy/creative, audiences, budget and bidding without publishing.
- Measure
Study Pixel/event concepts, reporting, relevance and split testing. Note where privacy changes may have altered the workflow.
- Operate
Use Business Manager access, ownership and agency material only after verifying the current interface and written client permissions.
- Archive
Treat explicitly old-interface lectures as historical context unless a current step confirms they still apply.
Build a campaign system before spending
Create one funnel map, campaign/ad-set/ad naming convention, two audience hypotheses, an event and data-consent plan, six creative hypotheses, a test matrix, account-access checklist, weekly report and explicit pause/scale conditions. Annotate which course lessons informed each choice and which details you reverified.
A course certificate and a demo plan do not qualify someone to control a large client account. Start with supervised work or a small, authorised test with a hard cap and verified tracking.
Who can make the maintenance burden worthwhile
Strongest fit
- A learner who wants long-form demonstrations, not a one-hour overview
- A business owner with one defined funnel and time to verify old steps
- An aspiring freelancer building planning, access and reporting discipline
Skip or choose a narrower update
- You only need current Conversions API or attribution implementation
- You cannot distinguish legacy interface footage from current workflows
- You are drawn mainly by the claim of becoming an “expert” or unusually cheap clicks
How to use the large rating count
A 4.4 rating from 35,267 ratings is meaningful evidence that many learners found value. It is not proof that every retained lecture is current. Filter recent reviews for repeated comments about Ads Manager, Pixel/events, Business Manager and instructor support.
- Preview the opening 4:40 lecture and ask whether the low-cost click/like claim is contextualised rather than presented as typical.
- Check when the long campaign-planning and ad-creation workshops were recorded or updated.
- Compare the public curriculum with your exact need; do not pay for 12 hours when one current specialist module would solve it better.
