The normal order flow
After purchase, the client submits the required information. Fiverr's freelancer order guide says the order remains incomplete until requirements are supplied, unless the freelancer has enough information and chooses to skip them. Once work is in progress, the order page becomes the shared record for messages, files, deadline changes, delivery and review.
A revision is not a new brief
A revision should bring the delivery into alignment with the agreed scope. Before ordering, define what one revision round covers: one consolidated feedback list, a number of design changes or corrections to a particular draft. "Unlimited revisions" should still have a stable original scope.
Give consolidated, prioritised feedback. Reference the file, screen, timestamp or paragraph. Explain the required result rather than prescribing a fix when the freelancer may know a better method.

If work is late or blocked
First identify the dependency. Did the client provide every input? Did the freelancer request a deadline extension? Is a third-party approval pending? Agree to a revised date only when the remaining work is clear. Keep the explanation and date change on the order page.
If a freelancer delivers very late without a mutually agreed extension, Fiverr's current client cancellation guide describes circumstances in which cancellation may become available. Use the options shown in your own order because eligibility depends on status and timing.
Use the Resolution Center deliberately
For active orders, Fiverr provides the Resolution Center from the order page. Its current help states that a cancellation request normally gives the other party 48 hours to accept or decline; no response can result in automatic cancellation. A client can also cancel before submitting requirements through the website, and certain very-late orders may be cancellable without freelancer approval.
Cancellation should be the last option after a clear attempt to solve the problem. Save factual notes: the agreed requirement, what was delivered, the correction requested and the response. Do not threaten a rating or chargeback to force extra work.
Know where cancelled funds go
Fiverr's payment help distinguishes a client balance from freelancer earnings. Cancelled-order funds are generally returned to the client's Fiverr balance and may be refundable to the original payment method under the applicable rules. Fiverr credits are different and can have their own restrictions. Check the current refund interface and help documentation for your payment method and location.
Close the loop with a useful review
Review the service you actually ordered. Mention the type of project, a specific strength and any relevant limitation without exposing private information. Do not trade a positive review for extras, and never purchase fake reviews. Fiverr's standards prohibit deceptive reviews and artificial engagement.
