Dashboard revenue is not money in your bank. Keep them separate: order value, freelancer earnings, clearing funds, available balance, withdrawal fees and tax.

Fiverr level ladder beside an earnings-to-payout flow

Quick answer

Levels, earnings and payouts, in brief

A plain-English reference for Level 1, Level 2, Top Rated criteria, the 80% earnings share, clearance and withdrawal methods. Dashboard revenue is not money in your bank. Keep them separate: order value, freelancer earnings, clearing funds, available balance, withdrawal fees and tax.

Current freelancer level criteria

Fiverr's level help lists six measurable criteria. Level 1 and Level 2 arrive automatically once every requirement is met, while Top Rated also involves a manual evaluation. The figures below are a snapshot. Check the source before you build a business decision on them.

LevelSuccess ScoreRatingResponseOrdersUnique clientsEarnings
Level 15+4.4+80%53US$400
Level 27+4.6+90%2010US$2,000
Top Rated9+4.7+90%4020US$10,000

Fiverr says qualifying Level 1 and Level 2 freelancers normally move up within 24 hours. Falling below a current level's criteria can trigger a 30-day grace period. Level status can change through periodic evaluation.

Success Score is only one part of the system

The Success Score looks at longer-term Gig performance and client relationships, sitting alongside ratings, response rate, completed orders, unique clients and earnings. Do not try to game any of it. Read individual Gig feedback as a signal, then improve qualification, communication, scope or delivery.

From order price to freelancer earnings

A freelancer receives 80% of the purchase amount, extras and tips included, before tax. A completed order then normally enters a clearing period. Fiverr's standard clearing period is 14 days, with shorter periods for certain eligible programmes such as Top Rated or Pro.

Simple example US$100 completed purchase x 80% = US$80 freelancer earnings before tax and withdrawal/provider costs

Your internal profit calculation must also subtract tools, licensed assets, subcontracting permitted by the scope, conversion charges and the value of your time.

Current payout method overview

Fiverr's withdrawal help lists the following methods and platform-side figures. Availability depends on where you live and on provider rules.

Provider-side and currency conversion costs can differ. The Fiverr Revenue Card is listed only for existing cardholders. Fiverr also describes waiting periods after a first withdrawal, a payout-method change or a verified-phone change. Confirm every figure in the live withdrawal screen.

Manage cash flow by status

  • 01

Order value is what the client pays for the service; it is not your take-home amount.

  • 02

Future or clearing funds are not yet withdrawable.

  • 03

Available funds can be withdrawn subject to method limits and account status.

  • 04

Banked net income is what remains after provider costs, conversion, business expenses and tax obligations.

Keep a reserve for cancellations, tax and operating expenses. Do not spend based only on orders currently in progress.
